MetadataShow full item record
AbstractCreation of an introductory course for Associate degree RN students seeking BSN – PRO 306. Successful completion of this one credit course will provide Associate degree RN students with an introduction to baccalaureate nursing practice, and skills in basic competencies in the areas of math, computer skills, study skills and the use of APA format sufficient to allow them to complete other coursework in the major. It is recognized that students entering this major come from multiple educational systems and may have been out of school for an extended time. Because of this a review of basic skills is believed to be warranted.
