    Abstract
It is the hypothesis of the current research team that there is a distinction between mindfulness as a disposition and a cognitive function which can be practiced. Activities such as meditation, yoga, tai chi, and practicing music are suspected to be correlated with mindfulness and well-being. It is anticipated that the collected data set will reveal that the relationship between the aforementioned activities and increased mood is mediated by mindfulness.
