    Abstract
Title IX Awareness of Student Populations on the College at Brockport Campus Under Title IX, all students have the right to receive an education in an environment free from sex discrimination. As many educational institutions, especially higher education institutions, work to comply with Title IX, regulations and policies have been put into place to ensure best practices. At the College at Brockport, an entire section has been added to the Code of Student Conduct which deals with sexual misconduct in compliance with Title IX. This addition outlines the policies and procedures to be followed in any instance of a report of sexual misconduct. This study analyzes the level of student awareness and knowledge of Title IX as it is implemented on the campus of the College at Brockport. In this study, students enrolled at the college were asked to complete a survey designed to assess their level of awareness of Title IX, especially as it pertains to sexual misconduct, and where they obtained this information. The results of this study point out areas in which education about Title IX needs to be improved and also the best ways to do that based on the most likely ways and places that students obtain this information.
