Development and curation of an osteological collection

Abstract

I will discuss the basic requirements and necessities inherent to the development of a comparative osteological collection of local fauna. I will cover such areas as state and federal permits, specimen collections, specimen preparation, and curating the collection. In addition I will explain the importance such collection play in archaeology.
