    Abstract
    This poster describes how the solution-focused brief therapy technique is an effective tool for treating individuals diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. This evidence based practice has been developed over a thirty year period and has remained person-centered in focus. This poster will show some of the basic techniques of solution-focused therapy, the goals, it's person-centered nature and the evidence to support the use of the technique.
