Abstract
This paper explores the issue of homeless pregnant and parenting teens by examining the current literature. Homeless pregnant and parenting teens is a particularly vulnerable population that, as of yet, has not been extensively researched. The aim of this paper is to begin an exploration of the programs and services available in aiding homeless pregnant and parenting teens, with a specific focus on obtaining housing. This paper will examine the existing programs as well as identifying the gaps in services and proposing the possibility for alternative programming. Social, financial and legal issues will be addressed as stumbling blocks to viable housing options.
