    Abstract
This presentation identifies the disciplinary strategy of In School Suspension Programs (ISS) in today's schools. According to research, In School Suspension is commonly used as a punitive approach to handling misbehaviors. The problem with ISS is that it is cyclical, meaning the same students are repeatedly being suspended. The goal of this study is to find out what type of education services students receive during In School Suspension, as research shows that suspensions impact student progress.
