Description

This webinar shares insights from a collegial inquiry designed to strengthen relationships between SUNY Cortland’s School of Education and public school district in our region. The inquiry centered upon using protocols to facilitate collegial discussions. The focus of the inquiry for this webinar was on the implementation of the Common Core Learning Standards in a fourth and fifth grade inclusion setting. Since the CCLS, NYS modules, and testing have elicited strong feelings the collegial inquiry format was key to providing a structured format for examination. The webinar will share insights regarding the use of the protocols to foster collegial conversations as well as implementation issues surrounding the Common Core Learning Standards in an inclusive setting.
