    Abstract
In this issue of the Spruce Moose, you first can take a look at the outlook of the Adirondack state park according to the Adirondack Ecological Center’s director, Dr. William Powell. You read about the ongoing research of wetlands and the important role that they play in the Adirondack State Park, as well as what research is being conducted by students on this topic. Don’t miss the exciting Close Encounter article that follows Stacy McNulty on her hike where she stumbles across a wolf. Finally, take a look at recent published works about the Huntington Wildlife Forest.
