Moon Library -- Special Collections and Terrence J. Hoverter College Archives

 

Special Collections at ESF are dedicated to acquiring unique items related to the field of forestry and environmental science. Items in Special Collections are acquired by donation, purchase or from the general library collection, such as non-circulating library books of historic value. The collection contains paintings, sculpture and art related to the College, produced by members of the college community. The College Archives at ESF contains materials documenting the development and growth of ESF. Items in the Archives include Board of Trustees and faculty meeting notes, dean and faculty papers and publications, theses and dissertations, Empire Forester yearbooks and college catalogs. The Archives has faculty audio and reel-to-reel recordings, lantern and photographic slides and visual graphics related to instruction at the College and to the public.
