Founded in 1999 the Dispatch is a curriculum-based newspaper that consists of students’ writings for journalism classes and journalism independent studies. The Dispatch is published monthly during the academic year.
Founded in 2005, the Submission is a student-run magazine with the aim of showcasing “the best of the best of student work on campus.” Published monthly, the Submission includes examples of Purchase students’ creative work in the visual arts, language arts and everything in between.
The Brick is Purchase’s college yearbook. Publication of The Brick has been intermittent, especially in later years and Library holdings are incomplete. The Brick, the yearbook, should not be confused with the Brick, Purchase’s online, student-run newspaper.
The Load, started in 1972, is Purchase’s first student-run newspaper. The Load ceased publication in 1996.
The Purchase Independent (often shortened to the Indy) is Purchase's only student-run print news source. The publication was founded in 2001 by Purchase student Glen Parker. New issues are published weekly during the academic year.
