Student Newspapers 1947-1969 INFO [SUNY_Erie_19-264]

Located here are the remotely archived metadata files related to the College's student newspaper digitization project (no. 19-264) performed in 2021 by the Erie Community College library staff in cooperation with Backstage Library Works, P.A. These files are also locally archived on a WD Elements Basic Portable Storage drive located in the SUNY Erie Community College Archives.

In the course of this project, the College's student newspapers Buffalo Technical Institute News, Institooter, and The Element were digitized from their original print issues. The project was funded by the Western New York Library Resources Council's Access and Innovation Grant, grant number GRT-000098. Digital access-level copies of the newspapers image files are hosted on the NYS Historic Newspapers website. Original print copies of the newspapers are housed in the SUNY Erie Community College Archives.
